Bad service, Bad quality !

So it was a week ago, me and my group mates were require to print about 73 photos for our assignment. We headed over to Taipan and ask a few photo shop, as we were on budget thus printing it in the normal 4R size isn't possible, and since printing it in photo paper quality is a bit pricey so we decided to go to a printing shop (shops that do printing laminating and etc.).

First shop that came to our mind was the printing shop located at USJ9. We went over right after lunch, and seek for their help. I asked them whether could they help us to compile the pictures we have into a A3 size paper and print for us. The worker didn't entertain us much, without hesitating he told us no. Fair enough, i told him to give me the exact size of a A3 and i will find my way to compile those pictures so i could get it printed out.

I went home, i tried many ways, with photoscape, pdf file, and photoshop. After a long time figuring it out, i manage to compile it into a XPS file. So i was worried that they wouldn't print for me in XPS file, thus without thinking much, i told my group mate to call them up and ask them whether will they help us to print if our file is in XPS file, since in the afternoon they told us that they will print it in either JPEG or PS file. True enough after calling up their office, they told us that they would not print it for us, cause its XPS file.

Cracking me head thinking how do i convert XPS file into JPEG or PS file. Went google it, and have obtained a few conversion web site but all seems to fail me down. So we nearly give up hope on it, then suddenly my friend told me to try print screening it. So i print screen it and save it as JPEG in paint, and open the JPEG file using my photoshop that i downloaded, to convert it into photoshop file.

All of us were glad that finally we were done with it. My group mate took the car key and drove us all the way back to USJ 9. Went in there gave them the hard disc, the same particular guy that spoke to us earlier told my friend "Hard disc ar? Very long wan wor" I was wondering what was he trying to indicate us, is he trying to tell us that he don't wanna do our business ? but my group mate were smart she answered him "Ya, very long wan".

The way that particular guy spoke to us were really rude, not only that the whole time while i was sitting there waiting for the hard disc to be scan all he did was talk to his colleague about food -.- And when he look at me not even a smile he gave. Honestly at that very moment i was already burning.

I waited for nearly 15 minutes, and throughout the 15 minutes all he did was complain to his colleague that he was talking to earlier on about food, that our hard disc we gave were really slow. In my heart i was like what the, hello why are you complaining your client hard disc, does he expect the hard disc to be empty?

If so the why buy a hard disc? After awhile i guess he decided not to scan it, so rudely he asked me where is the file, i pointed to him print. Then he tried opening the file where by i save as PHOTOSHOP file.

And you know what he came and tell me? He told me, "very long le".. Like what the hell so i was pissed off, i told him off  "You wanted photoshop file, so i used CS5 la" And he answered me "Oh no wonder"

Like hello, its non of my freaking business that u are using a CS2, like seriously a shop that opens for printing business is using photoshop CS2 !! And when your client uses CS5 you go to your client saying oh no wonder, without even a smile on ur bloody face -.-

I was really piss off, at that moment i wanted to tell him off, but i guess i didn't wanted to create a big fuss.

So finally he manage to open the file, and without even hesitating on whether should he help me to edit on the exposure or maybe alignment he straight printed it. I mean i send it to a printing shop isn't it your duty to help me to edit it, im pretty sure that u have a better skills of this then i do, if not i wont even seek your help.

He printed the A3 size pictures, and the quality was horrible, its was too dark, we barely could see anything. I mean fair enough if he didn't wanted to help us, at least inform us that the picture might be a little too dark, or maybe tell us a little on our stuff, i mean i wont be that piss off if he would talk to us nicely and even bother to smile at us.

I didnt wanted to pay, but he insist me on paying it. Im really pissed off with the performance of this particular shop. The way they treat their costumer and the way they do their stuff sux to the max !! Super piss off with them !!

I will never ever go back to that shop ever !!

After that place we went over to MYDIN. MYDIN have a printing shop as well, and the people there are much better, she even help me edited a little bit here and there..
